Ma foi, ça ne fait pas beaucoup d'emotes Dommage, je trouve ces ptites conneries bien sympa et drôles
The SotO supply drop includes an emote tome next week, Read Book, which I know many people are interested in, but could anyone clarify if this will also be a stand-alone item next week? Since the price of the supply drop goes up each week, I really don't want to have to wait til next week to find
Awesome idea! :D We could always use more emotes. An /injured emote could also be nice - it could either put players in the down-state animation, or mimic all those injured NPCs around the world (which looks rather similar to the down-state animation of dazedly sitting on the ground, listing to one side). And I'd love a /fakedeath emote.
V7ytd. 1) If you want to do emotes with your character, you can hold ctrl and alt together to bring up a bunch of emote commands. Clicking one will allow you to do the emote, while hovering over one will give you a list of keywords you can type in chat to trigger them. 2) For chat emoticons, you can click the button and you can click to add one to
Yes, the game could definitely do with some more emotes. As I recall, the batch that they added during LS3 were well-received. I kinda miss /rude from WoW for when some NPC is being a tosser and/or forcing me to sit through a monologue before the inevitable fight.
War-Torn Marauder Warclaw has my favorite animation, where if you idle long enough it will get up on its back legs and roar. Perfect for a battle charge in world vs world. Most mounts have at least 3 idle animations. And for many of them, they'll perform one specific animation when you give them a daily snack.
/flex was in GW1. Matter of fact, some of the 'taunt' emotes were there as well. I think that's why some of the emotes don't say 'unknown command' as the command is known by the engine, it's just been disabled.
Machinimas are essentially free advertising. With a /talk emote you encourage machinimas, which create a Youtube community, which generate free-advertising, which generates more people playing Gw2 and making more machinimas. this is exactly what happened with WoW. The value is also complex.
