GW2 is all about horizontal progression, so boosting to max level isn't like in other games where you may feel you need to do that to play with friends or to do relevant content. 1-80 levelling is essentially a long tutorial where you unlock and learn things over time and get to know the game. 12.
For sPVP you don't need to boost, as you will get boosted automatically to level 80 there. You will also get special equalized gear within the PvP section of the game. In WvW you will be scaled up. This upscaling doesn't work too welll though, but you still don't really need to use the level 80 boost.
I purchased this but the Level-80 Boost occupies the new shared inventory slot. I don't have any characters under Level 80 to use this for and I can't seem to move it or delete it to use the shared inventory slot. Any help would be appreciated.
1 Answer. There are two expansions, Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire. Both expansions feature zones and elite specializations for level 80 characters. The mastery system, including the mount feature of PoF, unlocks when your first character is level 80. Each purchase of an expansion comes with a level 80 boost, which would immediately allow the
Mesmer is actually pretty easy to level up. Mesmer Greatsword gets a really good death lazer, combined with Sword/pistol combo, you can go on killing things left and right. Also, you won't get anything immediately by boosting to 80. The celestial stats are meh.
80 lvl booster is suppose to be as reward for those who bought the DLCs. The reason why you can't see it is simple. You just don't deserve to get 80 lvl character just by doing nothing. No but really now. Its just marketing. Anet would get nothing from it if all of free to play players would get lvl 80 immediately.
tNMxj2Y. They want to use the boost on the Level 74 toon to get full exotic celestial on ele. Celestial gear can be damn expensive for a new level 80. If you can throw in $10 gems to gold you could deck yourself out and boost another class. It's not a huge waste though to boost the 74. I boosted a Revenant at lvl 60 for the celestial set.
All important stories will unlock at level 80 including glider, mounts, mastery. So before you hit 80 its walking simulator. Although there is a way by using lv 80 boost then just do the first story in Path of Fire to get the Raptor and go back to leveling other but i would not recommending this because your friends might not fully understand how this game work and wasting a lv 80 booster on a
Same position as just the EoD option. Though I just noticed something curious: Expansion Complete Collection (HoT+PoF+EoD) says it offers a shared slot + lvl 80 booster. Expansion + LWS Complete Collection (S2+HoT+S3+PoF+S4+IBS+EoD) says it offers two shared slots + level 80 boosters.
Hey all, I bought gw2 a while ago, came back and realized I needed to buy 2 expansions for the glider & mounts so I promptly did. The game gave me a 80 a boost, I want to use this on a toon so I can do the first quest of each expansion to unlock glider and a mount which I want to use too keep leveling my theif up with a bit of quality of life improvements.
Create the character, go to the pvp lobby. There you will have everything unlocked from level 1 and are able to test the elite spec on dummies. You can buy weapons at the vendor so you can test all weapon skills. If you don't like the class you can just delete it and create a new character to test. The level 80 boost only allows you to test the
