1. Necromancer, mainly Scourge. Pros: The best survivability due to huge amount of barriers. Easy to play, no skill rotation. You can boost your passive healing by using runes of tormenting. Cons: Slow, no access to boons. 2. Thief (Daredevil or Deadeye, depends on situation). Pros: The best passive heal in game. Great burst and sustained damage more than make up for the fully melee requirement, squishiness and forced movement. Very strong in fractals and even stronger in raids. High damage with good mobility and being actually fun to play (unlike Staff Weaver) makes this among the best choices for small hitbox bosses. Condi Herald and condi Renegade work well, but in a different way: Renegade has higher dps and specially single target damage, plus can be used both at mele and range, and has a strong bar breaking game; Herald has better sustain and mobility while in combat, but is not as great at breaking defiance bars. 1. WvW roaming. Around 7-8 again. So as a measure of whether it’s diverse, the answer to me is no…and this amount is somewhat universal across all the classes not just thief. Most builds that you can make in this game are not useful, and or are so similar to one another that the diversity is considered low. Specter functions best as a hybrid class because it has a decent amount of power and condition damage. The condi damage itself doesn't really shine without condi duration/expertise, but you are losing a significant portion of your damage by not dipping into power/crits. It also provides many conditions and buffs. Ranger has decent mobility on daggers, but offhand dagger is quite bad everywhere. Class is strong in pvp, pve and roaming in wvw, but only pve soulbeast uses (mainhand) dagger effectively. Necro has no mobility on daggers (low mobility in general as well) and I dont remember the last time necro had good build with at least one of those. AWV2BA. The Support Scourge is a necromancer build that can give barrier to its allies in WvW squads to keep them alive while also providing boons and ripping boons from enemies. Specifically, giving barrier to allies will cleanse conditions from them, give alacrity, might, and extra health. Using your Manifest Sand Shade F1 will help to apply more Longbow tho is alright feels meeeh, not a big fan, sword is ok but like you i rarely use num 2. Sword/Axe is ok, could be so much better but ok. For now i think sword/axe, longbow and maybe greatsword is the best for power. Condition well shortbow, i love the shortbow but i am not a fan of conditions, still one of my fav weapons as ranger (i Guild Wars 2 is an amazing game that I wholeheartedly recommend. It is an insanely vast game with so many choices and options. With 9 classes, and many different weapons for each class, all of which play differently, it can be hard to figure out what class is best for you. It can even be hard to figure out how to play. Whats the best dps class that in pve, a class that can run down mobs For those not wanting to use Reddit anymore discuss Guild Wars 2 on alternative platforms You u have alot of Blocks insane dmg with the right Build and very important for pve Stun Breaker and 3 Heals with the right Build. #2. Hefutoxin Jan 15, 2023 @ 2:12am. Guild Wars 2 doesn't work like a standard MMO. The only power increase you will get after level 80 is having an elite spec available from ANY expansion.
