My advice for next time would be to try out the availability of a name by either of the following methods before wasting Gems on a Name Change Contract: Method 1: Try adding the name to your Friends List. It will tell you whether it's taken (which will add the player) or not (resulting in an unknown character name).
sp1N0. By having these enabled and "Show All Player Names" disabled, all player names are hidden, including party/squad members. Nameplates only appear if I click on a player or mouse over them. Is this a common issue or something unique to me? I'm on Windows 11 and have DX11 beta enabled.
