Others have given excellent point-by-point comparisons, and I can't really add to those except to say: WoW is better if you like a vast, cartoony, raid-focused, gear-progression-model, punctuation-mark-questing-based subscription MMORPG. GW2 is better if you like a vast, painterly, exploration-focused, cosmetic-progression-model, dynamic-event
It wasn't stable at anything over +100 MHz so I just left it at stock clock speed. It shouldn't have a major impact since the game never puts load on all cores at once. Also the multi-core performance boost from the undervolt in Cinebench is 2% since BIOS AGESA version 1.2.0.7 has the EDC bug, so raising the current limit does nothing useful.
As we noted this morning, ArenaNet has announced Guild Wars 2’s next Secrets of the Obscure chapter, Through the Veil, but as it happens the team isn’t just stopping there: It’s also released an updated roadmap for the rest of the fall and winter well into the next two updates after this upcoming one.
The release of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons and the resolution of a story arc that was 10 years in the making feels like a fitting time to reevaluate the overall Guild Wars 2 experience—specifically, how we provide regular content updates to our players and what those updates contain. This means continuing to tell compelling stories that
If $30 is a large chunk of your budget, I would stick with the Standard edition. If $80 is reasonable for your budget, I would spring for the Ultimate edition - especially if you'd likely spend money on gems in the future. Living World Complete Season Packs are 30% off right now, if that affects your decision.
The condi builds have a lot better itemization, they dont require you to max out 3 different stats for dmg, but 2 or 1 in some cases. As a result you have condi builds that do more dps and dmg and are also a lot tankier than power builds. I learned it the hard way going from warrior power to guardian firebrand condi.
k4QHhm. earthly_star. • 3 yr. ago. you might like the armistice bastion pass from the gem store if it rotates back into stock, it has a duel arena and you can set up some 1v1s with people around. it does use wvw stats however so it might be better or worse for your preference depending on your gear. 2. The majority of answers was "doesn't matter, gw2 is different than any other MMO" so I went with Elementalist because I prefer mages. That was pretty much a mistake, especially after I started creating more characters. Literally every other class was easier and more fun to play. I learnt to love it. Eventually.
8v8 GUILD WARS 1 STYLED GvG: PROS: This is the classic match up. Everyone has been asking for it. Sounds like a great idea. The mere mention of this game mode evokes strong emotions & nostalgic memories of times long past. Players begin remembering epic scenes of elongated battles and all of the mechanics of Guild Wars 1 and why this mode
Warrior is widely accepted and meta everywhere, pve with all modes thanks to supportive banners giving unique boons. He also shine in sPvP as very tanky spellbreaker with decent dps. Necro is good in all pvp modes, he is god tier in solo open world but kinda meh in endgame pve like raids.
